Online Course Experience
Classes meet synchronously, through a distance learning technology, Blackboard Collaborate Ultra. Students and instructors are directly connected during class sessions, with live lectures and real-time interactions each week. Classes are recorded as well. All courses utilize Blackboard, which allows for a streamlined course experience. Students can access course content, including lecture notes, supplemental reading material, and class session recordings, submit assignments, communicate with instructors and other students, and view grades, in one location. Academic integrity is promoted and maintained through a remote proctoring service, RPNow, for exams, and anti-plagiarism software, SafeAssign and Turnitin, reviews for all written assignments, journal articles, praxes, and dissertations.
